The default option for donation payment is a one-time transaction, and the default online payment method is by credit card. One-time donations will be processed immediately as authorized for only that specific transaction. 

We accept the following payment cards and methods: 

• through our website – VISA, VISA Debit, Mastercard 

• through contacting us – Direct Debit, E-Transfer, WIRE

Please note, updates will only be visible on your bank account 5 - 7 business days after a debit transaction.

Online recurring transactions can only be set up with monthly credit giving for your gift. To set up your gift for any other frequency or to set it up through recurring direct debit (available for Canadian banks only), please contact us and we are happy to assist you with this.

*In cases when your recurring payment date falls on a weekend, the transaction will be made on the following business day.

The financial institution you identify on the donation form is authorized to debit or charge your donation to the account indicated. This authority will remain in effect until you have given Islamic Relief Canada at least 10 days notice that this authorization has been terminated. Advance notice must be given to allow reasonable time for your instructions to be executed.

If an incorrect amount should be entered into your account, you authorize your financial institution to make the appropriate adjustment on your behalf.

If you have made an error in making your donation to Islamic Relief Canada, we will honour your request for a refund made within 30 days of your donation. To request a refund, please call 1-855-377-4673.

Refunds are issued using the original method of payment:

• If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.
• If you made your donation through direct debit, cheque, or cash, your refund will be issued by cheque and sent to you via mail.

Islamic Relief Canada is a registered charitable organization with the Canada Revenue Agency, Registered Charity #821896875RR0001.

Each donation to Islamic Relief Canada is tax-deductible as and to the extent allowed under applicable law. It represents a contribution to our mission of mobilizing Canadians to transform lives worldwide in the most trusted manner.

Consolidated tax receipts will be issued at the end of the year, and receipts will be issued in the name provided under “Personal Information” on the online donation form.
